Asharqia Chamber presents you with its best regards, and informs you of receiving the letter of the Federation of Saudi Chambers No. (43501269), dated (27/3/1443 AH), Regarding the union’s intention to hold a workshop in cooperation with the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority, as well as the Saudi Automobile Club SATA Company, entitled "Introducing the system of land transport of goods TIR to facilitate international trade", as the Saudi Automobile Club SATA is a member of the International Road Transport Union has signed an agreement with the Zakat Authority And tax and customs to activate the customs agreement for the international transport of goods under the TIR cards of 1975 AD, so that the company is the guarantor and issuer of TIR cards in the Kingdom, and given that this agreement supports the development of Saudi exports and goods transport companies, This is through transferring Saudi exports to tankers operating following the requirements of the TIR system, which has several advantages, the most important of which is reducing the period and costs by not repeating customs procedures at customs ports in transit countries.
